As someone who kind of fell backwards into strategy, from earlier career beginnings in client service, I try never to lose an appreciation for how lucky we are to do what we do.

There are few vocations that get to combine curiosity, creativity, culture and (I'm struggling for a 4th C, dammit!)... an understanding of the human condition.

Most importantly, strategy's invariable output is through words. And what better way to craft that than to write? While my semi ham-fisted takes may not revolutionise the practice, it's cathartic to occasionally spew my inner monologue onto this profile.
